Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) is a form of economic empowerment initiated by the South African government in response to criticism against narrow-based empowerment instituted in the country during 2003/2004.

The fundamental objective of the Act is to advance economic transformation and enhance the economic participation of black people in the South African economy.

We remain committed to becoming an employer of choice that encourages open and constructive dialogue and innovation. The PIC is a level 4 contributor in terms of B-BBEE. It is recognised as an empowering supplier with a Procurement Recognition level of 100%.
