We hope our website will provide you with a panoramic view of what the PIC is about and answer any questions you may have about the Corporation. Our vision and mission will hopefully enlighten you about the path we have embarked on; striving to deliver good returns for our esteemed clients and changing the social fabric of our societies (countrywide and across the African continent), through our developmental investment approach. The PIC’s history spans over 100 years, and it is this rich history that characterises the epic growth of this prestigious and pivotal African asset manager.

Our achievements and successes speak to the hard work that we put into our work. It is this hard work, which has spanned many decades, that has seen the PIC transform into the largest asset manager in South Africa and Africa, enabling it to compete with the best in the world.

The PIC is poised to take up new challenges as it looks forward to its 200th birthday, and as it ventures further into Africa and the rest of the world in pursuit of new opportunities and new ventures. As we humbly embrace and celebrate these achievements, we acknowledge the challenges we face in the course of our work. We are, however, not deterred by these challenges as we see the opportunities for growth that even these obstacles hold.
