  • All existing and prospective suppliers are requested to self- register on the CSD by accessing the National Treasury website at
  • All PIC tenders will be published on the National Treasury’s e-Tender Publications Portal, at the following website:

The Procurement department of the PIC is responsible for effectively sourcing and managing any and all external suppliers, services and systems essential to the overall functioning of the PIC.

It is the PIC’s policy to source and procure services, products and systems through the principles of openness, integrity and accountability in compliance with the nationally accepted procurement practices of South Africa. This is done by applying the principles contained in the South African constitution and the Public Finance Management Act, 1999, both of which advocate fairness where it concerns procurement by public institutions.

As a government-owned entity, potential suppliers seeking future procurement partnerships with the PIC should follow the PIC’s tender process by filling in the necessary documentation and following the PIC’s tender process in full.

The PIC is committed to ensuring diversity and transformation in every aspect of our business. We are Level 2 B-BBEE contributor with a Final B-BBEE Procurement Recognition Level of 125%.
