Description
The PIC Graduate Development Programme (GDP) is designed to empower suitable qualified and unemployed youth with comprehensive knowledge, skills, and real-world exposure in asset and investment management, with a specific focus on the pivotal role that the PIC plays in the economy. This structured programme aims to cultivate a pipeline of capable investment professionals, ultimately transforming the landscape of the asset management sector.
Format
Graduates are given an opportunity to learn and work in the PIC, under the supervision of a dedicated mentor. Graduates are assigned to a division, based on their qualifications and career aspirations, and exposed to various competency based roles during their two year training. Graduate also attend various technical and soft skills training programmes to augment their programme.
Qualifying Criteria:
Applicants must be South African Citizens
Obtained GPA of atleast 60% and proven record of academic excellence.
A strong desire to work in financial services (asset and investment management)
Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
Not employed or registered in any learnership or graduate programme
